How do I register for classes?
You can register online and pay by credit card; You can register by mail and pay with a check: You can register at the door if space allows.
How do I become licensed in NC?
You must be 18 years old, must successfully complete a 75 hour course and then pass the state examination. Once licensed, new agents must complete 3 thirty hour post licensing classes, one per year for 3 years. While we don't currently offer pre-licensing, stay tuned! In the mean time, Capital Real Estate School has all of your post-licensing covered.
How much continuing education is required to take to maintain an Active real estate license?
All licensees must take 8 hours of continuing education by June 10 each year, and one of those electives has to be the North Carolina Real Estate Update course. Capital Real Estate School has all of your CE covered. (A BIC or BIC-eligible Broker who takes the General Update course and an elective will maintain an Active license but will lose his/her BIC status/eligibility. *As stated on the NC Real Commission website).
